I’ll be candid. You’re probably here because I handed you a buisness card at some film festival. Why did I do that? Well, one of two reasons: the first is that I think what we offer here at Phantom Cart might be right up your alley. Maybe you like creepy, thoughful films where we follow a doomed protagonist trying to dig themselves out of trouble. If that’s the case, wonderful! But if you’re here for the second reason—because you want to make those films, and challenge yourself as a filmmaker, then I’m so glad you found us.

Hey again. I’ve been writing scripts for over a decade. A dozen shorts, a feature, many commercials. Now I want to do my own thing. I love horror in all of its incarnations. I’ve met the best people on horror projects, and further more, I have never found a more accepting community. Scary films and spooky books tap into something oddly calming for me. If I can offer that same sense of chaotic balance for my viewers, i’ll be content!
Diego Urso
Production head, editor, VFX
Diego is an insanely driven individual who never choses shortcuts when faced with a dillema. Throughout our history at Phantom Cart, Diego has worn many hats in production: designer, cinematographer, sound operator, editor, colour grader, BBQ operator, location scout, talent scout, boy scout. He is a tremendous fella to work with and never stops learning. He’s like a filmmaking computer, this guy!
